Mission Statement

The Stanislaus County Veterans Employment Committee (VEC) was formed for the purpose of eliminating and reducing the barriers faced by our Veterans by assisting with obtaining employment. This includes all barriers to employment such as homelessness, healthcare, education, and financial needs. This committee is one of few boots on the ground organizations addressing the needs of our Veterans within Stanislaus County by collaborating with Federal, State, Local and Non-Profit agencies. The VEC achieves this in part by networking with other agencies and by hosting and assisting with outreach events for Veterans.

The VEC meets on the 1st Monday of each month. Meetings are open to anyone interested in sharing concerns, ideas, or wanting to collaborate on issues affecting our local military, Veterans, and their Families.
